Clerk Fencing have supported local activities over the years. Recently we supported: The East Coast Adventure Centre: www.eastcoastadventure.com where we assisted with the design and supply of a special banner stand assembly. Carlingford Lough Club: Where we recently sponsored the Clerk Fencing cup which was presented on Boxing day 2009. www.clyc.info The Mourne Truck Run: Over £25,000 was raised by the 2009 Mourne Truck Run. The total amount raised by the Killowen Fundraising Group, since our first meeting in September 2005, has now exceeded £200,000. All funds have gone towards Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Research. Diamond Quest Ireland: In 2009 An exhilarating running, kayaking and cycling race through the beautiful scenery of the Irish countryside was organised. Full details can be found at www.diamondquestireland.com Clerk Fencing along with other local sponsors such as Newry & Mourne District Council supported the quest. We supplied a compound for the bikes which can be seen in the images below.
